Meet Our Staff

Jaime Plamann, MOTR/L

My name is Jaime Plamann and I have been practicing occupational therapy for 12 years. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of North Dakota in 2003 and opened STRIVE Therapy with my husband in 2012. I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient pediatrics, a variety of long term care facilities, outpatient and inpatient adult physical rehabilitation, and adult inpatient mental health.

I have completed continuing education courses in the Integrated Listening Program, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Practice, Zones of Regulation, and Behavioral Modifications.

I reside in Buffalo with my husband and three daughters. We stay busy taking the girls to their activities including volleyball, soccer, and social interactions with their friends. As a family we enjoy camping, attending professional sporting events, and visiting family and friends.

Being the owner and director has been tremendously fulfilling. We enjoy meeting the families in our community and working closely with them to reach their greatest potential. I feel like I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and began this journey with the goal to give back to others but I have gained so much more than I could have imagined.

Ashley Woolison, MS., CCC-SLP

My name is Ashley Woolison. I was born and raised in St. Cloud Minnesota. I am a speech and language pathologist that specializes in pediatrics.  I received my Bachelor of Arts and Masters degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Currently, I have been a pediatric speech language pathologist for seven years.

I began my career in Alamosa, Colorado where I developed the pediatric outpatient speech program.  I then proceeded to work for Home Health Care to reach those families that had difficulties traveling to the clinic.  In September 2011, we moved back to Minnesota where I continued my career in speech therapy between two settings, an outpatient clinic and an elementary/middle school.  This then lead to my employment here with STRIVE Therapy.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 year old daughter as well as all the family around us. Our hobbies include anything outdoors. Camping, fishing, biking, golfing, and playing volleyball to name a few. I feel very blessed, grateful, and fortunate to have an amazing family and a career I love and am so passionate about.

I am looking forward to building and expanding the speech department here at Strive Therapy.  I believe STRIVE offers a strong foundation that allows us, providers, to offer services that will help enhance the communication and social skills in children so that they can be more successful in all areas of life.

Darcy Roeser, MOTR/L

My name is Darcy Roeser and I have been practicing occupational therapy for 14 years. I earned my master’s degree from the College of St. Catherine’s in 2001. I have worked in a variety of settings including self contained autism classrooms in an elementary school, special education department in elementary school, in patient psychiatric and chemical dependency unit, and a variety of nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

I reside in Delano with my husband and our two girls Mya and Jaelyn. Although life is kept plenty busy with their activities of dance, gymnastic, girl scouts, and art classes, I do find a little bit of time for my hobbies of photography and scrapbooking. As a family we enjoy taking long road trips, visiting museums, and being outside all year round.

My passion for occupational therapy grew early with involvement with children in special education when I was in grade school. I always knew I wanted to be an occupational therapist. I am excited to be back to working with children and their families at Strive Therapy. Areas of high interest and completed certification include the Integrative Listening system, Brain Gym, Handwriting without Tears, Anxiety management techniques, Social Thinking, visual picture systems, and social stories. I believe that whatever I do in the therapy room should be able to be transferred to home and educating the family is as important as working directly with the child.

I have completed continuing education courses on Zones of Regulation, Integrated Listening System, & the Infinity Walk.

I love working with children & seeing the gains each child makes as they continue to learn and grow. The light in their eyes when they reach their goals is a reward in itself!
